Cf Monterrey Rayados and Premier Soccer Services welcomes your team to the Copa Rayados Internacional. The 5th year of the tournament sees the highest level of competition with international teams in the A and B flights. A flights will have both LIGAMX and MLS pro club academies. International entrants will be invited in all age groups with 50 slots reserved for international teams. PUMA and GATORADE are both partners in the tournament. US Soccer Development Academy protocol will be followed to allow for DA approval in these age groups. We have lowered the total number of teams from 275 to 172 to maintain the highest levels of organization, competition, international and domestic diversity, refereeing, and to use the highest quality of fields. 66 slots are available for open applicants with the other 106 slots reserved for international entrants, pro club academies, and qualifying tournament winners.
Texas Rush, The Greater Houston CVB, The Woodlands CVB, The Woodlands Township are all supporting partners in the tournament. The best professional youth academy in Mexico, CF Monterrey Rayados (Fuerzas Basicas) brings this international tournament to Houston and The Woodlands, TX. Unlike other youth tournaments in the USA sponsored by professional clubs, the Copa Rayados Internacional will have the top youth teams of Monterrey Rayados competing in the tournament. A minimum of 4 additional major Mexican professional clubs will also bring their academy teams. International teams will be invited and compete as well as top teams from the United States. International entrants will also be invited from multiple countries.
An Exclusive Welcome Ceremony and Party is included. Past years have been at the NASA Space Center and San Antonio SeaWorld.
Showcase matches will be played and free admission all matches will allow all to enjoy these games.
4 match guarantee - Most Games played Thursday through Sunday : Minigame format on Wed-Fri prior to Semifinal rounds. Teams will be reseeded based on round robin results for ful length play on Saturday and Sunday.
The primary complexes will be in The Woodlands area though some matches will also be the Great Houston area. We are happy to announce that we will have a minimum of 10 FIELDTURF Synthetic surface fieds to use in addition to beautiful grass fields. In the event of heavy rainfall, we will be able to adjust the schedule to move matches to FIELDTURF Fields to continue playing.

PARKING: Parking at the 5th Annual Copa Rayados Internacional will be FREE for the 1st time! As we strive to continue to offer the best international tournament, in partnership with The Woodlands, there will be no event parking charges!
Competition will be at a premium and there will be top flight competition. There will be a B flight of competition also.
The Greater Houston Convention and Visitor’s Bureau is the housing bureau to serve your tournament accommodation needs.
• You MUST use this service. It is MANDATORY for participation in the tournament IF your team is traveling to the tournament and using hotels. If your team is local and not traveling, this does not apply.
Teams traveling must reserve a minimum of 7 rooms for Under 13 and older: for a minimum 4 night stay
Teams traveling must a reserve a minimum of 5 rooms for Under 9-12: for a minimum 4 night stay.
Teams not fulfilling the above housing requirements will not be allowed to play in the tournament. An exception may be granted with a $500 surcharge.
• Players may only be registered on one team.
• Teams are limited to a maximum of 14 (u9, 10,11,12)/ 22 (u13-19) players depending on age. See Permission to Host. Note: for 22 player rosters- only 18 players may be selected for each game.
• Teams are limited to 5 guest players with the following requirements:
The team maximum roster size may not be exceeded.
Each guest player must have a laminated player pass or appropriate national association pass and medical release forms.
U20/19 January 1-December 31 of 1999 and August 1-December 31 of 1998, and younger

NOTE: The tournament is following US Soccer protocal for Calendar birthyear age divisions and the Small Sided Games format (U9-12) as recommended for the 2017-18 seasonal year.
